How I Work:
From Awareness to Transformation
My approach is grounded in the principles of Gestalt therapy, but above all, it is rooted in a deep respect for your unique story.

I am not here to "fix" you or offer ready-made advice on the "right" way to live. Instead, I serve as your guide and an attentive witness as we explore how you are wired and how you navigate the world.

The Foundations of My Practice
  • Live "Here and Now" Dialogue
We don't merely reminisce about the past. Instead, we examine how your past influences you in this very moment. If you talk about fear, we notice how that fear manifests in your body, your breath, and within our contact right now. The energy for true change lies within the present moment.
  • The Body as an Ally
In Gestalt therapy, we believe that the body never lies. Tension in your shoulders, a lump in your throat, or sudden fatigue during a session—these are invaluable somatic signals from your subconscious. We will learn to listen to your body’s voice, as it often holds your blocked emotions and unmet needs.
  • A Focus on Awareness
We often live on "autopilot," relying on outdated scripts that once helped us survive but now prevent us from living fully. My role is to help you notice how you make choices, how you hold yourself back from your desires, and how you set boundaries. Awareness itself is half the journey, as we cannot change what we fail to notice.
  • Experimentation Over Theory
Therapy with me goes beyond conversation. At times, I may suggest small creative experiments: phrasing something differently, switching chairs, visualizing a significant person, or focusing on a specific physical sensation. Think of it as a safe "laboratory" where you can try out new ways of being before bringing them into your everyday life.
  • The Relationship as a Mirror
Therapy acts as a microcosm of your life. How you build a relationship with me often reflects how you interact with partners, friends, or colleagues. Within our safe space, we can explore these relational dynamics in their purest form, free from the risk of judgment or rejection.
  • Safety & Professional Ethics
I adhere strictly to a professional code of ethics:
    • Confidentiality: Everything shared during our sessions remains strictly between us.
    • Gentleness & Respect: I will never push you into areas that feel overwhelming or frightening; I deeply respect your natural pace.
    • Professional Standards: I engage in regular clinical supervision and personal therapy. Tending to my own personal development—a therapist's primary working tool—ensures that I separate my experiences from yours. This allows me to remain fully focused on your process, maintaining a clean, authentic, and safe space for your growth.

What Results Can You Expect?

The goal of my work is not to make you "perfect," but to help you become whole. I aim to empower you to build reliable self-support, gain absolute clarity regarding your desires, cultivate healthy relationships, and live your life intentionally by conscious choice rather than out of inertia.
